If you missed yesterday’s post where I bare it all and share quite the embarrassing story, well this is the internet and it’s still there waiting for you. It’s much funnier than this post so it’s cool if you want to go there instead.
Day 7 of the January Blog A Day Challenge is SHOES. I gotta be honest, my shoes are not that interesting. I wear a harder to find half size and have a somewhat narrow foot and hate hate HATE shopping for shoes. Combine that with the fact I’ve worn my pretty heels and wedges maybe twice since the kid was born and you are left with a fairly boring post.
Do you know whose shoes are rather interesting though? Sweetey Petey’s.
His lightning bolt shoes are my all time absolute favorite. If they made these in adult hard to find half sizes in a slightly narrow I’d be all over it like my Husband and a bag of Oreo’s.
He’s currently in these puppies, his first pair of Stride Rite’s. Yup, it turns out I care more about his shoes than mine.
Snow boots from Walmart. $15 and totally worth the three times he’s worn them.
Converse sneaks. If one could die of cuteness overload I’d be a goner. Again, I would totally wear these.
The Pete has a while yet before his tootsies will fit into these, but oh man, when they do . . . Supermom, keep your girls locked up cause my kid will be lookin’ fine.
To catch up on my January Blog a Day posts:
Tomorrow is all about honesty, and honestly, I have no clue what I’m going to talk about. None.

Question of the Day: Which of Sweetey Petey’s shoes would you wear?

Keep that dapper young man away from my girls!!!!

You know my Husband’s fondest desire is for our son to date your daughter. I don’t plan on letting P date till he’s at least 25 so your girls are safe for awhile
Okay, heels/wedges not much at all since P was born…making me feel better about my shoe assessment! Those Converse are to die for- so sweet!

I just don’t see the point . . . It’s hard enough balancing a little one on your hip and not tripping without heels to complicate things even further
No way! I also have a narrow foot! Although mine is of the “extremely narrow” variety.
I HATE looking for shoes because it’s so hard to find them…so I end up wearing scuffed shoes that get holes in them. Bleck. I think I would wear his brown ones at the top. Simple, but go with a lot of outfits.

I always buy Bandolino for dress shoes. They seem to fit well. My mom wears a 9.5 triple narrow. Yikes. Flip flops in the summer!!!
I’m somewhere between a AAAA and AAAAA in my heel, and a AA/AAA for the toes. Oh, and I have a rogue big toe that likes to stick up, so that’s always (not) helpful. I will have to look for that brand next time I’m out at a shoe store. *fingers crossed*
Summer is much better for me for shoes because I can get straps to lock my foot in. And I tend to not scuff them as much so they last longer.

those lightening bolt shoes are the JAM. Why is everything so much cuter and more awesomer when it is smaller?
